USF New Tampa JAZZ SERIES debuts on September 14th, with JAZZ CLASSICS
In an exciting new partnership, the Tampa Jazz Club and the USF School of Music are joining with the New Tampa Performing Arts Center to present a series of jazz concerts for the 2023-2024 season. The opening concert will be on Thursday, September 14th at the Center, the brand-new arts facility serving New Tampa, built and operated by Hillsborough County.
The inaugural program in the USF New Tampa Jazz Series will be ‘An Evening of Jazz Classics’ featuring the USF FACULTY JAZZ ENSEMBLE. You’ll hear favorites ranging from Louis Armstrong to the mid-century greats such as Miles Davis, Cannonball Adderley, and Horace Silver in this celebration of the jazz tradition. The line-up of scheduled musicians are:
