Start your Y2024 off on the right NOTE!

Following a brief hiatus after sharing Tampa’s first public piano, Tampa Tunes is giving it a makeover. They have partnered with 1920 Ybor to present to the people of Tampa an opportunity to play piano, sing, dance, and fully express the music in our souls.

The first piano has had a few people make their mark, and they also want to use the pianos to show off the fact that Tampa, FL has some of the best artists out there PERIOD! Plus, local performers on the live music scene are also top-tier.

At 4pm they will unveil the piano, which will be given its final coat of paint and personality by local artist and visionary Carlos Pons. Opening remarks and prayer by piano donor, music teacher, and local preacher Rev. Carlton Burgess
4:10-4:40pm – Julie “That Piano Chick” Legner will speak.

At 4:45 – The ribbon-cutting ceremony, as they position the piano in its permanent “home” where it will be available for the public to play freely. They will also be announcing upcoming locations, artists, donors, and partners including TBCN TV and WMNF 88.5 FM Community Radio.

**This family-friendly and educational event is open to the public. Mickey’s Subs for the first 50 guests.**
