Get ready, Tampa Bay — it’s time to party! WMNF is turning 46, and we’re inviting YOU to celebrate with us at our Birthday Bash on Friday, September 20 at Bayboro Brewing in St. Petersburg. Expect great music, amazing energy, local love, and yes — free cake!

We’re bringing two of the area’s most electrifying bands to the stage for a night of unforgettable live music:

🎸 Four Star Riot
A Tampa Bay favorite, Four Star Riot blends indie alt rock, new wave, soul, and R&B with high-octane energy and catchy hooks. You’ve heard them on MTV, ESPN, and in hit movies like Deadpool and Like Mike 2. Drawing inspiration from artists like Tom Petty, Elvis Costello, and Arcade Fire, their sound is both classic and fresh. With appearances at SXSW and support slots for Bon Jovi, Maroon 5, and Jimmy Eat World, Four Star Riot delivers a live show that’s not to be missed.

🎷 The Black Honkeys Band
Voted Best Band and Best Cover Band by Creative Loafing, the 9-piece Black Honkeys Band is pure funk, soul, and rock’n’roll magic. With a horn section, killer vocals, and an unstoppable groove, they’ve become a local institution. Their music has reached national ears — like in the 2023 film The Plus One — but their live shows in Tampa Bay are where they truly shine. Expect a dance party from the first note to the last.
