Environmentalists fight to save pristine Florida forest

Environmental groups in South Florida are fighting to save a pristine forest that’s being clear-cut for high-tech development; there has already been civil disobedience trying to slow or stop the destruction of the Briger Forest in Palm Beach County.

There are protests planned for the next two Fridays, December 5 and 12.

To find out about the issue, WMNF interviewed Bailey Riley, with Everglades Earth First! – she used to be active with Occupy Tampa.
