DJ Darkvater grew up in Jamaica where he developed his love for music. As a child he attended block parties and hang around the sound systems while the DJs were mixing.
After moving to the United States, he pursued his love for music and began dj’ing at a local club in Tampa. In 2004, He gave his life to Jesus Christ and took a break from dj’ing to concentrate on his growth in Christ. He then slowly got back into music by dj’ing for local churches and for local artistes in the Tampa area.
In 2013 he founded his own mobile DJ company that focuses on music ministry and wholesome entertainment. His radio career began in 2015 where he hosted a weekly Gospel reggae show on Ryte Flyte radio. He currently DJ on Thee Righteous Temple of Hip-Hop Show on 88.5fm.
