An annual throwback to the decade the beloved St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club was founded, the Tweed Ride is the most coveted and highly anticipated annual ride in St. Pete. A one-of-a-kind event where participants don their finest tweeds to take tea and scones before cycling through the city, it’s a spectacle so out of the ordinary that locals and tourists alike can’t help but snap and share photos and videos as a sea of tweed rolls down the major thoroughfares of St. Petersburg.

The ride finishes back at the club, where party-goers can eat, drink, and party like it’s 1924. Attended by extremely stylish locals, who are connoisseurs of vintage fashion, craft beers, cocktails, and delectable menus, it’s the perfect opportunity to join the tastemakers and trendsetters of St. Petersburg.

The ride serves as a fundraiser for the Shuffleboard Club. The past two Tweed Rides helped make major improvements to the historic clubhouse this summer. This year is a fundraiser for phase two of work on the windows.

The ride starts at 4 p.m., the after party runs from 5 to 8 p.m.
