Poll suggests Greenlight Pinellas transit referendum could lose big

Greenlight Pinellas could be heading toward a blowout defeat; a new poll released late Friday by St. Pete Polls finds that Pinellas County voters reject the proposed sales tax increase for transit by a twelve point margin.

WMNF News interviewed Matt Florell, president of St. Pete Polls.

Their current poll shows the Greenlight Pinellas referendum being opposed by 54% of likely voters.

Tuesday we’ll hear their results of a tightly-contested county-wide race for Pinellas Commission between Democrat Pat Gerard and Republican Ed Hooper.
