How much danger do sharks pose to us here on Florida’s West Coast?

In North Carolina there have been seven shark attacks in the past three weeks. In Florida there have been eleven shark “attacks:” this year. Our guest is one of the leading local scientists on the question of shark behavior and conservation. He is Dr. Robert E. Hueter, Associate Vice President for Research at Mote Marine Laboratory in Sarasota and he is a Senior Scientist and Director of the Center for Shark Research at Mote. He’s been a leader in shark conservation since 1988.
