Audit of Florida’s unemployment insurance system finds problems

Florida’s unemployment website launched in October 2103. In the year-and-a-half since CONNECT opened Governor Rick Scott has defended the program. That’s despite the fact that many residents have had trouble getting their benefits from the system.

On MidPoint, WMNF’s Sean Kinane interviewed Michael Van Sickler with the Times/Herald Tallahassee Bureau who wrote the recent article, State audit highly critical of Florida’s unemployment system CONNECT.
