Listen to Governor Rick Scott’s annual State of the State address

Today we listen to Governor Rick Scott’s State of the State address, which kicks off Florida’s two-month long legislative session for 2015. In his speech Governor Scott outlines several key issues of the upcoming session,including tax cuts, education, workforce development, and the environment. We then hear a response from Senate Democratic leader Arthenia Joyner, of Tampa, who points out that most of state’s touted job growth has been in low-wage, service sector work.
