We speak with Nightline Co-anchor Byron Pitts on the media’s coverage of race-related issues. Pitts will be speaking on the topic on Friday at the Poynter institute at 7:30 pm. He had a brief stint in Tampa as a reporter for WFLA-TV in the late 80’s.He later worked for CBS for 15 years, becoming the lead correspondent for CBS following his coverage of the 9/11 attacks before moving to ABC.

We then talk about the letter sent by 47 State Senators to the Iranian Government discouraging them from entering an agreement with the Obama Administration regarding its nuclear program.
