Today we air the latest installment of the Fairness Doctrine, a debate style segment moderated and produced by Jennifer Sullivan. Today’s episode addresses the current trade embargo against Cuba, and with recent talks of re-establishing diplomatic ties with the island nation, whether it should be lifted. Taking the side for lifting the embargo is Patrick Manteiga, publisher for the trilingual newspaper La Gaceta. Arguing in favor of the embargo is Ralph Fernandez, a Tampa-based attorney and citizen activist.
