FRIENDS and the (NDSS) National Down Syndrome Society invite you to participate in the 7th Annual Friends Buddy Walk as they Advocate, Celebrate, and “FUN” raise for the Down Syndrome & Special Needs community on October 21st! The Buddy Walk is also F.R.I.E.N.D.S.’s largest fundraiser, and funds raised determine what F.R.I.E.N.D.S. programs, support, and activities can be provided for in 2024.

DJ Mark Girdwood will be playing tunes and Mark Oliver is the emcee. There will be a playground and bouncy houses, and kids can meet their favorite Star Wars characters and have their face painted by Brittni. Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, and food/drinks if you wish, or enjoy the lunch that will be provided for registered walkers.

Before the Advocacy walk, there is a presentation of Team Awards, trophies, and most importantly Buddy Walk Medals and Cow Bells to Buddies! The top 5 teams will lead the walk around Al Lopez Park.
