Share
The music will start at 5pm!
Wahh! World Fusion Band is set to release their  second album, called ‘BROTHER RAY’.
‘Wahh!‘ is a spectacular blend of East meets West in true fusion music style.Using the scintillating sounds of Indian tabla and vocal overtones, ‘Wahh’ fuses a modern approach weaved in with Sitar, Bansuri Flute, Western Drums, Guitar and Bass.    Combining Indian Raga music and Western harmonic melodies with an infectious Rhythm section creates a strikingly impressive blend of Musical style and instruments.   With such diversity, ‘Wahh!’ provides a captivating and musically luscious experience.
WMNF programmer Ray Villadonga, who died last summer, was one of the the founders of Wahh! and the album is his last recorded music.
The  band will be joined by world renowned Master Percussionist, Selva Ganesh , known for his masterful work with John McLaughlin and Zakir Hussain with the legendary band ‘Shakti’.

Opener:   Kaleigh Baker  – Kaleigh Baker  melds with blues, jazz and mountain-soul influences. She continues to mold her music with every bend on her journey.“With a booming voice reminiscent of Adele, yet a songwriting sensibility that’s tougher and wiser than many out there, Baker’s rough-and-tumble blues mantra sizzles when you throw in her jazzy sound.”  – Pure Volume

Tickets $12 advance,  $15 door (opening at 4pm).
