First Friday Native American Heritage Month: Celebrate & Protect Our Waters will be held Friday, November 3rd from 6:30pm – 9:30pm at the 65th Infantry Veterans Park – 301 Buenaventura Blvd, Kissimmee, FL 34743 – Click here for a map

Everyone is welcome for an evening celebration of our waters and to pay homage to Native American Heritage! From speakers to traditional dancing and music, a culturally rich experience. Explore offerings from craft vendors, traditional food, and immerse yourself in the significance of our waters within Native American culture.

Special Guest: Betty Osceola, keeper of the traditions of the Miccosukee, emphasizing the reverence for all life and the preservation of our natural world. Through her impactful prayer walks, she highlighted Florida’s environmental challenges and also building communities to rally in defense of the Florida Everglades and waterways.

Please, bring your chairs or a blanket to ensure your comfort during this outdoor event.
