Pasco County friends and families are welcome at a free event: The Juneteenth celebration hosted by the African American Club of Pasco County on Saturday, June 15, 2019 from Noon to Five. We celebrate not just Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation announced in Texas in June 1863 but our journey 400 years down Freedom Road from the arrival of the first slaves in America to where we are now, so we gather to sing, listen to music and dance. Activities include a free Water Slide for the kids, a free Bounce House, games including Horse Shoes, Corn Hole, Dominoes, Spades, Hula Hoop and more, with hot dogs and hamburgers available for a small donation. All citizens of good will are welcome at the Old Booker T.Washington School at 6105 Pine Hill Road, Port Richey 34668. For more information, go to our Facebook site for the African American Club of Pasco, or our website at www.aacpascofl.org<http://www.aacpascofl.org>, or call (727) 849-5582.
