Living Mirror Playback Theater of Tampa Bay & WMNF Present…

Finding Light in the Dark: How Helping Hands Promote Mental Health

Come share your experiences and watch Living Mirror Playback Theater reenact those stories for a compelling evening of theater and community.

The next live show will be Friday, May 24th, 7pm –WMNF Radio Studios: 1210 E MLK Jr Blvd, Tampa – Please come to the West side entrance no later than 6:55pm

Theme for this month is mental health awareness with Guest Speaker: Beverly Ward, Field Secretary for EarthCare SEYM

Playback Theater is a chance to hear compelling true, personal, first-person stories, and each show in this series is based on the WMNF monthly mission calendar. However, Playback Theater is completely improvised–both for the audience members who speak, and for the performers who then reflect back, dramatically what they have heard. Nothing has been pre-planned. It is improvisational theater at its best and most compelling.

We invite community activists and interested listeners to come and share their thoughts and experiences. Then Living Mirror will “playback” those stories using improvisational techniques. It will be a compelling evening of community sharing and theater – and these shows are free – but space in our studio is limited, so please reserve your seat below and come to the West side entrance no later than 6:50pm.

*Each month a different subject will be explored – so mark your calendar for the last Friday*, if you can join us for our monthly Community Storytelling and Improv Show. Limited seats available. (* There may be holidays, or other reasons why the date will shift, as in February, due to Membership Drive).
