Living Mirror Playback Theater of Tampa Bay & WMNF Present:

Listen to Your Mother – Conversations with Mother Earth”

The next live show will be Friday, April 26th, 7pm –WMNF Radio Studios: 1210 E MLK Jr Blvd, Tampa

Theme for this month is environmental awareness with Guest Speaker: Craig Huegel, PhD. Craig is the host of WMNF’s program – The Waking Hours – Tuesdays, 3am – 6am, and Assistant Director of USF Botanical Gardens.

Playback Theater is a chance to hear compelling true, personal, first-person stories, and each show in this series is based on the WMNF monthly mission calendar. However, Playback Theater is completely improvised–both for the audience members who speak, and for the performers who then reflect back, dramatically what they have heard. Nothing has been pre-planned. It is improvisational theater at its best and most compelling.

We invite community activists and interested listeners to come and share their thoughts and experiences. Then Living Mirror will “playback” those stories using improvisational techniques. It will be a compelling evening of community sharing and theater – and these shows are free – but space in our studio is limited, so please reserve your seat below and come to the West side entrance no later than 6:50pm.

*Each month a different subject will be explored – so mark your calendar for the last Friday*, if you can join us for our monthly Community Storytelling and Improv Show. Limited seats available. (* There may be holidays, or other reasons why the date will shift, as in February, due to Membership Drive).
