About the Band:

BIO:  Swearingen & Kelli’s latest offering, Build Myself Up, embodies the essence of Americana, blending nostalgia for folk and country with a trailblazing spirit. The EP showcases their deep affection for dobro, angelic high string, and fingerstyle acoustic, complemented by haunting harmonies honed through years of touring. This release features hidden gems from their live shows and an arresting rendition of a beloved Kris Kristofferson song. Their previous album, Cold-Hearted Truth, earned critical acclaim from Americana Highways, Cowboys & Indians, NY Country Swag, and Red Line Roots, who praised their “beautiful and rare” approach. Swearingen & Kelli’s reverence for ’60s and ’70s folk and country music has led them to share stages with legendary artists like Crystal Gayle, Kenny Rogers, Tom Rush, and David Bromberg. For the duo, home is found on the road, the stage, and the connections they make with people after every show.
