Good afternoon, welcome to the last Call. I’m Rob Lorei. Tens of thousands of people from around the country and around the world are expected to come to Tampa when the Republican National Convention takes place here at the end of August. Tampa police expect up to 15,000 protesters to be outside the convention site. A bill waiting for the Governor’s signature could reduce personal injury protection fraud and eventually reduce auto insurance premiums in Florida. But another consequence would be that accident victims would no longer be able to use PIP to cover massage therapy or acupuncture because those services are not considered emergency medical treatments.
