Here is the latest sandbag locations that we have, by county. If possible, bring your own shovels and some counties may want you to bring containers. DON’T DIG UP THE BEACHES!!!!!

Citrus County Informaion:
There will be sandbag materials available at the following locations Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.:
4508 S. Grandmarch Ave. in Homosassa
7490 W. Gulf to Lake Hwy. in Crystal River
Sandbags will be limited to 25 per person. For more information, contact the Road maintenance Office at (352) 527-7610. 

Hernando County Information:

Sandbags or bag your own sand are available
Sand and sandbags will be available beginning Wednesday, September 6 from 8 a.m. until sundown and will be available until further notice. Four self-serve sandbag distribution sites will be open at the following locations, Bring your own shovel:
1. Hernando County Department of Public Works, 1525 East Jefferson Street, Brooksville, FL 34601
2. Hernando County Fire Rescue Station 1, 1479 Parker Avenue, Spring Hill, FL 34606
3. Hernando Beach Water Tower, 4500 Shoal Line Boulevard, Hernando Beach, FL 34607
4. Ridge Manor Community Center, 34240 Cortez Blvd Dade City, FL 33523

Hillsborough County Information:

Tampa:
Sandbags will be available to city residents from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. until further notice at the following locations.Tampa residents must show identification to verify their address is within city limits. A valid driver’s license, utility bill or electric bill are recommended. There is a 10 bag limit. Sandbags are self-fill.
•Bobby Hicks Pool  4201 W Mango Ave.
•Barksdale Active Adult Center – 1801 N Lincoln Ave.
•Jackson Heights Community Center – 3310 E Lake Ave.

Sandbags will be available for Hillsborough county residents at Public Works Service Unit locations from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday. There is a 25-bag limit.
West Service Unit – 9805 Sheldon Road, Tampa
South Service Unit – 8718 Old Big Bend Road, Gibsonton
East Service Unit – 4702 Sydney Road, Plant City

Manatee County information:

County crews will distribute sandbags from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday at the following locations: 
Buffalo Creek Park – 7550 69th St. E., Palmetto  
G.T. Bray Park – 5502 33rd Ave. Dr. W., Bradenton  
Lakewood Ranch Park – 5350 Lakewood Ranch Blvd., Bradenton 
Stormwater Ops – 5511 39th St. E., Bradenton  
Rubonia Community Center – 1309 72nd St. E., Palmetto  

Today, Big Earth Landscape Supply will offer free sand at its two locations: 6001 15th St. E., Bradenton and 1010 10th St. E., Palmetto. For more information residents can call (941) 748-4501.

Pasco County information:

Sandbag locations will be open 24 hours a day until further notice:
West Pasco Government Center – 7356 State St., New Port Richey
J.W. Mitchell Park – 4025 Little Road, New Port Richey
Fire Station #17 – 2951 Seven Springs Blvd., New Port Richey
Magnolia Valley Golf Course Clubhouse – 7223 Massachusetts Ave., New Port Richey
Veterans Memorial Park – 14333 Hicks Road, Hudson
C-Barn – 30908 Warder Road, San Antonio
Dade City Police Dept. – 38042 Pasco Ave., Dade City

Pinellas Information:

Unincorporated Pinellas, open during daylight hours:

Clearwater:
Sand is available, but bags will not be provided to residents. You will need to bring your own bags.
Public Works Complex: 1650 North Arcturas Avenue

Oldsmar

Sand bags are being distributed at Oldsmar City Hall, 100 State St., from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday. There is a 20 bag limit.

Pinellas Park:
Sandbags will be distributed today at the Public Service area at 6101 78 Ave. N (already bagged) or bag your own at Helen Howarth Park Until 4pm. 6301 94 Ave. N.

St Petersburg:
Sandbags will be available to city residents Wednesday starting at 7:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. Residents must bring documentation proving they live within city limits. Limit of 10 sandbags per resident. 
Northeast Park – 875 62nd Ave. NE (Cardinal drive entrance to Mangrove Bay Golf Course)
Bartlett Park – 2000 7th St. S (off 22nd Avenue S between 6th and 7th streets S)
Northwest Pool Parking Lot – 2331 60th St. N
Lake Vista Recreation Center – 1406 62nd Ave. S
Azalea Park – 7200 16th Ave. N
Main Library – 3745 9th Ave. N (west parking lot)

Polk County Information:
Polk County is offering self-serve filling sites for sandbags and asks residents to bring their own shovel. The limit will be 30 bags per person. Filling stations are located at the following fire stations at the following times, according to the Polk County government website:– Babson Park Fire Station 920

The City of Venice Public Works will have sandbag materials available starting at the following locations:
Behind Venice City Hall at Avenue Des Parques and West Venice Avenue
Wellfield police range off Pinebrook Road

Sarasota County will have sandbags available Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the following locations:
Newtown Estates Park: 2800 Newtown Blvd, Sarasota, FL 34234
Twin Lakes Park: 6700 Clark Road, Sarasota, FL 34241
South County Fleet Facility: 4571 SR 776/Englewood Road, Venice, FL 34293

Up to 15 bags per household will be available while supplies last. In addition, sand is being made available to the public for free at Big Earth Landscape Supply, 6625 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota.
