A new group in Tampa is using humor to fight Islamophobia.

A couple of weeks ago the daycare section of a mosque in Tampa caught fire. When news of the fire was posted on television websites the string of angry, mean and downright Islamophobic responses flooded in.

But a new group in Tampa, called Peace House, is fighting back against the Islamophobia with humor.

The guests on MidPoint are the creators and founders of the Peace House, Ahmad Hussam and Nick Armero. They produced a video of young Muslims reading the online responses:

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = “//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3”; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, ‘script’, ‘facebook-jssdk’));

Muslims Read Hate Comments A daycare at the mosque burnt down. People commented their thoughts. You won't believe the reaction to this tragedy.
