New transit option for Hillsborough residents with disabilities

Hillsborough County’s transit authority has a program called HART Plus that gives door-to-door on-demand transportation for people with disabilities that are enrolled in the program; but a new program involving taxi cabs will supplement HART Plus in the New Year. Ruthie Reyes Burckard is chief operating officer with HART, the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority.
