Passion & Discovery on Life Elsewhere

Share

“There are piles of fantastic magazines out there just waiting to be discovered,” says Steven Watson, “but finding quality independent magazines can be difficult.”

Thankfully, the former magazine editor had a passion for magazines and he really liked discovering them. So, that’s what he did, better still he set about sharing his passion and his discoveries. The result is Stack, a magazine subscription service. Steven, our guest for the next edition of Life Elsewhere, eloquently chats about the graphic design wonders he curates for Stack. With his charming Yorkshire brogue, the Stack founder enthusiastically shares his knowledge and affirms the printed page is alive and well in an abundance of all shapes, sizes, and materials.

“The magazines I select give an extra glimpse into the world of independent publishing,” says Steven, adding, “they are beautiful, intelligent magazines you probably wouldn’t otherwise have come across. It’s a mix of quality writing with cutting-edge design and the most exacting production values.” Graphic designers, art directors, writers or anyone fascinated by pop culture cannot afford to miss this stimulating conversation.
