Undocumented immigrants need to drive says frustrated mother of 3

Members of Congress are getting ready to head back to their home districts for the summer without passing comprehensive immigration reform. Activists in the Tampa Bay area are hoping they can take some last ditch efforts to convince holdouts to reconsider.

Elisa Huapilla is organizing immigrants like Alberta Chavez who can’t get a driver’s license because they are undocumented.

Chavez and others like her will talk to the media about immigration reform on Monday just after noon. They’ll be at the Spanish market La Reina De Mexico on U.S. 19 in Clearwater.
