12th Annual WMNF Caribbean Cruise Music Festival – POSTPONED

For everybody who loves Caribbean music. The annual event is always wonderful music and turns Skippers into an island paradise!                                 
 BANDS
6:00 – 7:00pm     Jah Movement  –   2018 and 2019 Creative Loafing Best of the Bay “Best Reggae Band” winner.   First time playing WMNF Caribbean Fest.
7:20 – 8:05pm    Tropigroove –  a dynamic musical group led by saxophonist Dr, Yves Morency who will bring Haitian Compas to our festival.   
8:40-9:25pm    Trinity 7   –  Trinity 7 is a roots reggae band who bring authentic, old school sound straight from the hills of Jamaica. Lead by foundation reggae artist, Ras Meishak, along with songstress Arata, their family and extended tribe together make up the rock solid musicians of Trinity 7
9:45-  10:25   Impulse  – a Caribbean and world music Reggae band with a unique style of zouk, calypso, soca and meringue –  the perfect blend for our festival.
10:45  11:40   Jahfari  –   One of the most longstanding Caribbean bands in the Tampa Bay area , Jahfari (with founder/leader Trent Mullins)  plays a wide variety of reggae genres, from ska to rock steady, roots to dancehall
Between sets 
Gia Yee  –  The soulful reggae singer/songwriter whose father hails from Jamaica, fell in love the reggae genre in her childhood. Her love for reggae music is deeply embedded in her soul.
