Thanks for helping your community and those who need you.

Now, for the bands!!

Talk To Mark

“By equal turns both raucous and melodious, St. Petersburg, FL quartet Talk To Mark mix power guitars, impassioned vocals and pop songwriting into a straight-ahead rock style all their own.

…During a set break an enthusiastic fan inquired as to the band’s name, to which Young replied, ‘I don’t know, talk to Mark’” – NPR

Rocket 88

Orlando’s Rocket 88 returns with their original line-up!

“Gene Vincent-inspired rave-up rockabilly with the wardrobe and mile-high pompadours to match. Toe-tappin’, fingersnappin’, hand-clappin’, don’t-let-me-catch-you-nappin’ rockabilly, dressed to the nines and ready to rock.”

HGWT (Have Gun, Will Travel)

Florida’s Have Gun, Will Travel have a knack for blending musical influences and shifting between genres while maintaining their own distinctive sound. Their songs run the gamut from foot-stomping front-porch spirituals to strum-punk rave-ups, hill-country historicals and indie-rock anthems.

FUN for you. FUNDs for WMNF.

Your OVERHEAT ticket purchase will be an investment in the future of our mission-driven, volunteer-powered, listener-supported community radio station, because all Overheat proceeds will go to WMNF’s Meet the Match Campaign to establish our new endowment fund.

Plus, if the Meet the Match Campaign raises $200,000 by July 5, both the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay and the Nathan B. Stubblefield Foundation will match that amount— boosting the endowment’s initial nest egg to $400,000. We’re already SOOOO close!!

The endowment’s opening deposit won’t be touched for 10 years and will be invested in a socially responsible portfolio for use by future WMNF radio-activists.

Here’s your chance to say you helped WMNF Meet the Match while getting your groove on. And, if bringing together three exceptional bands for a night of rock and roll, we’ll also give all attendees a piece of cake to celebrate our station manager’s birthday.

Get your $20 ticket early below, or $25 at the door.
