WMNF’s Hot Box is even hotter than our July nights!

Share

So much humidity, so much hot. And the weather is the same!

We have some new adds to the WMNF Hot Box. Our Hot Box is filled with releases that the music department wants to highlight for our listeners. Let’s listen to some of the newbies.

Waxahatchee  Katie Crutchfield makes excellent, driven, specific and fun rock & roll.

Washed Out Ernest Green revived his Washed Out project, and the summery sort of instrumental has a crazy fun video to match.

Lord Echo Sort of old school groove from New Zealand’s Mike Fabulous – the whole release is like this.

Songhoy Blues Continuing the joy, this Mali band sings (and shows) their city Bamako, and now I want to go!

Toro Y Moi has been a WMNF favorite from the beginning. His new release seems more confident, and while completely dance worthy and chill, more emotional.

You can hear many of the new releases in the Hot Box, and other new music at the station on the air, and also on our New Sounds HD2 channel. More information is here. You can listen online from this website, or through the free WMNF app. More info about that  is here!

We also have original programming on our other HD channels. I hope you will try them all.
