Share

Richard Blanco was the fifth inaugural poet, and the first openly gay Latino immigrant poet. His work, One Day, mesmerized the nation. Since then he has been involved in multiple public projects, including a response to the Boston Bombing (Boston Strong) and the marriage equality movement Until We Could.

Richard has a new memoir, The Prince of Los Cocuyos, about his youth in Miami. He will be appearing in benefit for Plume Poetry on Monday, March 23 at the Palladium.
