Today on Radioactivity, Host Rob Lorei talks with Patrick Mantaiga, publisher of trilingual newspaper La Gaceta. In a column published last week, Mantaiga addressed five contentious issues affecting Hillsborough County and Tampa: the formula for increased stormwater tax which he says unfairly affects the poor and nonprofits, the  spending of more than half of the Hillsborough County School reserve fund under former superintendent Mary Ellen Elias, the widening of parts of the interstate system throughout Tampa, the proposed half cent sales tax for transit that might benefit developers, and the BP oil spill money tied to the tax that might be used for road building if it fails.
