Fact-checking news website Politifact determined that Donald Trump has made so many blatantly false statements during his presidential campaign this year , that it has collectively awarded them the 2015 Lie of the Year.  From Statements about crowds cheering on the 9/11 attacks from New Jersey to claims that Mexico is sending criminals over the boarder, Politifact found that 76 percent of the 77 statements by Trump that they have looked at have been outright, “Pants on Fire” lies. Joining us to talk about why they have awarded Trump this dubious distinction is Amy Hollyfield who is a Deputy Managing Editor at the Tampa Bay Times.
