Solidarity actions in Tampa to support hunger-striking Palestinian prisoner

Share

More than one hundred people have signed up to not eat food today in solidarity with a Palestinian, Khader Adnan, who is on an extended hunger strike protesting his imprisonment by Israel.

The solidarity hunger strike is organized in part by Tampa resident Dezeray Lyn, who recently traveled to the West Bank as a member of International Women’s Peace Service.

Lyn has a jury trial in Tampa is next Monday for a nonviolent action at Port Tampa Bay last year.

When she was in the West Bank, she wrote a blog post for WMNF News about demonstrations in Palestine.
