On 11/9/15’s WMNF Sustainable Living Program the topic was Ethical Fishing in West Central Florida. Our guests were Libby Carnahan, an Extension Agent for our University of Florida IFAS Florida Sea Grant Extension Program; Emily Muehlstein, the Fisheries Outreach Specialist with the Gulf Fisheries Management Council; and David Rieumont, fisherman and publisher for the OnLine Fisherman. Our guests covered many topics, mainly about regulations, how they are determined and future regulation of fishing quotas, where to fish and how to, sea grass issues and a lot more.
