Tampa’s Curtis Hixon park closing for repairs

Tampa’s popular downtown park, Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, will be closing for repairs for about two months. Thursday morning at a meeting of the City’s Community Redevelopment Agency, Tampa’s administrator of economic opportunity, Bob McDonough, said repairs need to be made before the fall.
