Yes, it’s that time of the year again when we reach out to a selection of guests who have made important contributions to our show and request they select three books and one non-book gift for The Annual Life Elsewhere Holiday Gift Show. This year our guests are,  Miriam Seidel’s, fantasy-fiction writer who caught our attention with her debut novel, The Speed Of Clouds, where she delved into the lives of sci-fi fans and their passion for imagined worlds. Long-time contributor to the program and noted creative director, Robert Newman returns with his gift choices. We asked psychiatrist at the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Joseph H. Baskin to contribute his suggestions for holiday gifts. Best-selling author, commentator, screenwriter, cultural observer, and friend of the show, Mark Haskell Smith gives his well-considered input. A new singer-songwriter from London, Arlo Parks with the brilliant debut single, Cola, joins in and for the first time, Life Elsewhere host, Norman B shares his thoughts on gifts. You can see all the books selected by our smart, clever, talented guests here. Can you unravel which guest selected which three books? It’s a lot harder than you may think. And, who selected for their non-book gift a potted bonsai tree? All will be revealed on our next edition. Happy Holidays!
