Our fund drive is just a week away! It is a wonderful way for WMNF to connect with the community, and a big chance for listeners to talk back to their radio. A lot of the programmers, inspired by the best songs day, are planning special programming that day.
We use lots of volunteers during the drive. If you are interested in being a volunteer, you can sign up here. Don’t have time but have love and money? You can either go to your favorite program through the schedule, or hit up this donation page and pick the show you love. And you can always call the dj at 813.239.9663 or the front desk during business hours at 813.238.8001.
WMNF has been listener supported since before we were even on the air. We were doing crowd sourcing before term was invented! Your donations keep our airwaves free of corporate influence, something increasingly rare in today’s media landscape. We might have a 15 second underwriting spot, but no underwriters can dictate what we do or do not cover or play. We DO have a spiffy new t-shirt design to send out as a thank you present!
