Thanks to the Food Donors from WMNF’s Fall Membership Drive

~ October 6th through October 13th, 2022 ~

We’d never make it through without the generosity of these folks who gave us breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, and snacks!

Volunteer Amy Abrams made cupcakes to share when she came in for a Sunday shift. Thanks, Amy!

Volunteer Lisa Ager made soul food Saturday night & a Caribbean spread on Sunday – 2 full dinners, WOW.

Volunteer Gabrielle Ayala brought us black beans & rice with homemade cornbread on Saturday, thanks!

Cabot Creamery Cooperative sent cheese samples, found online at cabotcheese.coop

Volunteer Tammy Cappleman prepared homemade tomato soup & amazing spicy crackers Saturday.

** Cappy’s Pizzeria, 4910 N Florida Ave, Tampa, sent pizzas dinner Tues night. Welcome back.

Gail & Paul Carroll delivered oatmeal cookies for us to enjoy. They were delish, thanks!

Volunteer Jim Coley brought a sweet lunch of sandwiches & chips when coming to take calls Friday.

Cosmic Donuts, 32130 US Hwy 19 N in Palm Harbor donated apple fritters Wednesday.

** Crystal Bay Café, 800 E Twiggs St, Tampa, delivered Cubans, beans & rice, + cookies for lunch Tues.

Datz located at 2616 S MacDill Ave in South Tampa made breakfast on the first Thursday.

Ella’s Americana Folk Art Café, 5119 N Nebraska Ave, Tampa made chicken & waffles lunch Thurs.

Volunteer Susan Gonzalez prepared breakfast casseroles, fruit, and brought juice on Wed morning.

Jerk Hut, 1241 E Fowler Ave, Tampa, made Jerk Chicken, peas & rice, and veggie dinners Sun.

Lin Jorgensen sent spanakopita, chickpeas & dolmades, Dewey D.T. delivered Thursday.

Thursday Morning host Katarina Lauver made Tres Leches cake on Thurs, breakfast casseroles Sun & Turkey Chili for lunch on Mon – Thanks for all you do, Katarina.

*** Local Mini Donut Co., located at 411 N Florida Ave, Tampa donated breakfast Tuesday. Thanks!

Mother Kombucha, based in Pinellas Co, delivered Agua Bucha & Kombucha for us to enjoy all week.

New World Brewery, 810 E Skagway Ave,Tampa, sent pizza & sandwiches for lunch Wednesday.

The Brothers Potts (Andrew) of Herp Hobby Shop, located at 700 St Petersburg Dr in Oldsmar, donated a BUNCH of Jamison B Breadhouse goodies on Thursday… This was croissants for breakfast & pizzatas for dinner Friday, plus cookies, pretzels & brownies all week.

Rene’s Mexican Kitchen located at 4414 N Nebraska Ave, Tampa made breakfast burritos Sat, even vegan tofu!

Satkar Indian Cuisine, 14422 N Dale Mabry Hwy. made Chana dal, basmati rice & raita for Saturday lunch.

Volunteer JoEllen Schilke baked apple crumb cake, delivered this Friday, then did tally. And Sunday, brownies!

Volunteer Vinny Scully brought dinner on Wed evening, then made breakfast Tues, got Cosmic apple fritters, & took calls too!

Volunteer Jim Shirk brought breakfast egg cups on Monday when he came to take calls.

*** Shuffle Social Club, 2612 N Tampa St,  prepared pasta, salad, Cuban bread and cookies for dinner on Monday. Welcome!

Smoothie King, 17501 Preserve Walk Lane, New Tampa and 5207 E Fowler Ave, Tampa donated 3 times!!! Thursday, Friday & Sunday – Owner & WMNF volunteer, Austin tallied, too!

Volunteer Doug Stimac brought blueberry pie when he came for a phone shift on Friday night.

Richard Taborn “Cheesecake Richard” of Rich D’lites, dropped off cheesecakes & apple nut cakes Wednesday!
