Share

On today’s Tuesday Morning Show,  Marcie had a conversation with the great Eilen Jewell, who comes to town Saturday for WMNF. Eilen talked about moving back to her native Idaho from Boston and the struggle to reconcile the pull of city life with her love of solitude and space. She also shares the joys and fears that come with being Mom to 14-month-old Mavis Rosetta, named in honor of Mavis Staples and Sister Rosetta Tharpe. The themes of the conversation are echoed in songs from Eilen’s new CD, Sundown Over Ghost Town.
