Dr. Fred Harvey discusses Diabetes Spectrum Metabolic problems and treatment. Diabetes is a disorder of sugar metabolism in the body. It has devastating health effects when it is not controlled. Insulin is the principal hormone involved in glucose -sugar- metabolism. Problems with insulin availability and with resistance to the message of insulin both affect the ability of the body to control blood sugar levels. We will explore some of these issues and interventions.
