On Monday’s Sustainable Living Program  on WMNF, we talked about fermenting.

Our guests we’re Sarah Arrazola, founder of St. Pete Ferments, Tampa Bay’s first wild fermentation food and beverage Company. She’s a St. Petersburg native and a co-founder of the annual Florida Ferment Fest in Stuart FL.

Caitlin McMullen, another FL Native and homesteading herbalist, Florida plant expert, herb grower and runs an herb CSA in the Sarasota.

And, we were most privileged to have ‘Mr. Sauerkraut’, Sandor Katz, world famous for reviving fermentation mainly by writing two of the most famous fermentation books in modern times: ‘Wild Fermentation’ and the ‘Art of Fermentation’.

Know it or not fermentation is all around and in us; it has been forever, and the more connected we are with it the healthier we become!

You can listen back to the show on your free WMNF app, or in the archives on the show page.
