Yele Haiti should be removed as recipient of donations from WMNF community. There are too many red flags as indicated in the article cited in yahoo:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100116/ap_on_hi_te/us_haiti_wyclef_jean
I trust WMNF to do a good job in vetting the charities we support but in this case I would prefer that we change the recipient to some other well operated charity.

Wyclef Jean and Haiti: A Man AND People Of Integri

For all "nay-sayers and haters" (this inludes YOU,Limbaugh & Robertson!): Wyclef is a man of integrity. He puts his money where his mind and heart is. If you don't like him or his people, that YOUR problem! As far as I'm personallly concerned,my heart cries for my People in Haiti and if I had a trillion dollars to give my extendend family down there,I'D DO IT WITHOUT HESITATION! Esp. when I've learned how "the enemy" has oppressed and repressed Nubians in the Americas for the last 400 years. So lets give love (including money and time) to those who need it...CASE CLOSED!!

Please check out this link to Keith Olberman from MSNBC, before commiting yourselves to bashing Yele.
It is so easy to sit in one's comfortable homes and chit-chat while real people suffer and others try to do the right thing.
Furthermore, if you investigate one agency, then investigate them all. But at the end of the day, the Haitians are still suffering.
And that is the saddest part of it all!!

I trust Wyclef - he is from Haiti and has focused on long term development, not just emergency relief.
