AM LUNG ASSOCIATION GIVES FAILING GRADES TO FLORIDA ON TOBACCO CONTROL - Mitch Perry
American Lung Association gives failing grades to Florida on Tobacco Control
A new Report on the state of Tobacco Control in Florida gave out mostly failed grades to the state this afternoon.
Breaking down the report into 4 categories, the only passing grade the health organization gave the state was on the Smokefree Air Law.
Brenda Olson is Director of Governmental Affairs at the American Lung Association of Florida. She says that high mark is laid almost 100% at the passing of a Constitutional Amendment banning smoking in most public places back in 2002
