LAKELAND POLICE OFFICER SHOOTS MAN, IS UNDER INVESTIGATION-Andrew Stelzer

A Lakeland police officer who shot a man who dove away from a traffic stop is under investigation by the local police department. For officer Doug Brown, who fired two shots at Michael Worlds Tuesday afternoon, this is the 4th time he will be under investigation. Brown was caught going 90 miles an hour in a 30 mile an hour zone in 2002, he was also one of 4 officers who shot Leroy Reed 13 times in February of 2002 after reed allegedly pointed a gun at the 4 officers, ---all 4 were eventually exonerated of guilt; and officer Brown hit a high school student with a metal baton outside a basketball game later that year.
