EXPLOITATION OF MEXICAN IMMIGRANT WORKERS

Elsie Allen and Fernando Cuevas of the Central/North Florida Carpenters' Regional Council say that immigrant workers are routinely exploited by employers - from withholding information about worker's compensation, training, and safety to being threatened with deportation. These workers are demanding better treatment.
