THE HUMANURE HANDBOOK: A GUIDE TO COMPOSTING HUMAN MANURE

This edition of the Sustainable Living program featured an interview with Joe Jenkins the author of THE HUMANURE HANDBOOK. Joe was a graduate student when he wrote a graduate thesis on sustainable systems. One of the systems was a toilet which uses no water and could generate useable compost. The thesis became his book and on today's program he discussed the technique he has championed.
