FCAN says USF denying them access

Next Wednesday, FCAN, the Florida Consumer Action Network, along with several other groups, were planning on hosting a Town Hall Meeting discussing the Iraq War on the USF-Sarasota Campus.

Sarasota area GOP Congressman Vern Buchanan had been invited to the discussion.

But according to Bill Newton, FCAN’s Executive Director, officials at USF-Sarasota contacted him late this afternoon to say they were cancelling the event
