Florida Democratic Party officials today announced that they are refusing demands by national party leaders and will hold the state’s presidential primary at the end of January.
Jon Ausman, a Florida official with the DNC, is not happy with how state Party Chair Karen Thurman handled the situation over the last month.
The state had been warned by the Democratic National Committee not to move their primary up, or they would face penalties, including losing all of the state's delegates at next summer's convention.
