Michael Pollan is the award-winning author of the book, The Omnivore’s Dilemna: A Natural History of Four Meals, just recently released in paperback.
The book, named one of the 10 best non-fiction titles of 2006 by the New York Times, investigates the elements and ingredients that go into four different meals: The fast food meal, the organic meal, the local "beyond organic" meal and a meal that is completely hunted or gathered by Pollan himself.
In the second part of our interview with the journalist, who also teaches journalism at the University of California at Berkeley, we began by asking him if he ever imagined he’d spend so many pages in his book writing about corn –including, believe it or not, corn sex.
