This afternoon, Immigrant rights attorneys and advocates discussed their opinions about how that transition has been for immigrants....

Cheryl Little is Executive Director of the Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center...

Jeanne Butterfield is the Executive Director of the American Immigration Lawyers Association......She's critical of the large backlog of petitions for legal status ..and says the processing delays have become intolerant (roll tape#3 o.q."put in place")

Margie McQue is from the NY Immigration Coalition....That group held a protest this afternoon...McQue said member of her organization have serious problems with the Homeland Security Department's Immigration Bureau now (roll tape#4 o.q."

Angelica Salas, Executive Director for Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles, - She gives the Department of Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services an "F" Grade for NOT gouging immigrants for more money (roll tape#5 o.q."to fix the existing problems")
