Our next guest is Betty lou bettner, phD.
Dr. Bettner is an educator, counselor, author, international lecturer, mother, foster parent, and wife to Walt Bettner.
She's a psychotherapist in private practice in Media, Pa; and faculty member of Holy Family University in Philadelphia, Pa.
She is also author of Raising Kids Who Can.
Bettner says her goals for raising children are to instill honesty; responsibility; courage; respect; confidence; productivity; sef-esteem; self-discipline; and cooperativeness.
She also says that children need the 3 C's to succeed: -everone wants to belong; to feel connected -everyone wants to feel capable -everyone wants to feel significant- to count
Bettner will be appearing at the following events this week:
